Medicare guidance for Houston retirees
Turning 65 or reviewing your Medicare coverage? Cover H-Town's licensed Medicare agents help you compare Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and Part D prescription drug plans.
Medicare coverage, explained simply
Medicare open enrollment brings a flood of mail, ads, and phone calls — and it's easy to feel unsure which Medicare plan actually fits your health needs and budget. Cover H-Town's licensed Medicare agents provide free, unbiased comparisons of Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement (Medigap) plans available in your Houston zip code.
Medicare plans we help you compare
- Medicare Advantage (Part C) plans, including HMO and PPO options
- Medicare Supplement (Medigap) plans to cover out-of-pocket costs
- Medicare Part D prescription drug plans
- Dental, vision, and hearing add-ons for Medicare beneficiaries
- Special Needs Plans (SNPs) for qualifying conditions
When to review your Medicare plan
You can enroll in Medicare during your Initial Enrollment Period around your 65th birthday, and you can review or switch plans every year during the Medicare Annual Enrollment Period (October 15 – December 7). Our agents recommend an annual check-in, since provider networks, drug formularies, and premiums can change year to year.
Is there a cost to work with a Medicare agent?
No. Licensed Medicare agents are paid by the insurance carrier, not by you, so comparing plans with Cover H-Town is always free.
